How does a serial killer live in a neighborhood full of missing boys and go unnoticed?  This is the story of Dean Corll, the REAL Candyman!
I picked this story out because of the nature of the victims....young boys that went missing that the police stereotyped as runaways...but their parents didn't.  The real truth of this story comes in the victims that Dean turned into his slaves and how he recruited them to do what he wanted.  It reminds me of Missy Erickson and her friends.  Lori needs help, 100% of the time, to commit the crimes that she is involved with.  She can't drive.  She has no sense of direction.  Many victims are brought to Lori's doorstep by her flying monkeys.  Then she drugs and tortures them on videotape.
His minions were the people that stopped The Candyman, but they were still held responsible for their involvement.  I think Missy believes that she can get out of this crime if she can just turn herself back into a victim of my status.  It's almost impossible to believe you could let your captor go free, but that has happened with Missy when Lori and Brian were in Sedona, Arizona.
I want you all to watch the story of The REAL Candyman.  Oh, yeah, he is the inspiration for the movie but not many similarities....
