So, I got a day off from work and slept my rear end off. One thing that nobody really understands is the amount of mental work that it takes to be a victim of this crime and still keep it together. It's a constant conversation between the victim and the operators. When you have to work for a living you have your "right in front of you" life and the life going on in your head. Lori loves to mingle with the two. Most operators wouldn't dare.
So on my day off, the blog had well over two thousand hits and we are now over 15,000 hits for the month. Our previous high was just under 5,000 hits...we still have a week left in this month and it is all record-breaking.
I wanted to show all of you what "viral" for a blog looks like. We started in January 2012, and eleven years later you can see the jump in views. It's startling at first and then you feel an obligation to your readers to put forth a bigger effort to explain this crime. I welcome the challenge!
