As A Human Being With Strong Concerns About Artificial Intelligence Taking Over Your Humanity, I Thought This To Be Something I Would Sign Too!!!

I am challenging everyone to try to think of what life would be like with adaptive artificial intelligence.  I was watching this story above and was thinking that my own thoughts could even be used in some algorithm that would take my own actions and teach them to a robot or computer.  Am I part of a collective that I never intended to join?

In a way, the answer is yes.  What my friends and I are a part of is called a neural network.  We all have our thinking read by a translation module that takes EEGs and turns them into words.  Sort of what a human being does before the words come out of their mouths.  I may not orate the words until the thought has gone through my head and the criminals have seen it.  You know, in conversations, you wait your turn or for the apropos moment to insert your insight and observation.  So the criminals that set up and ran this neural network, the LaFond kids, sometimes know what I am going to talk about before it comes out of my throat.  You have to get used to that kind of thinking.  There are many things that people that have been targeted will be able to teach you when the tech behind it is exposed.

You know about most of these things as a human but you never intended for other people to see them.  For example, if someone made a comment about you at work and you took offense to it, you might think one thing but handle it differently.  Though you wanted to be outwardly offended, the language that went with that was inappropriate for work.  So you "thought better of that", a phrase Lori laughs at, and you said the professional thing.  In this case, Lori would perceive the slight for you.  She would know that your coworker annoys you, but still, you said nothing.  Lori would take that information and turn it into a fight between you and the person that ticked you off.  She would call that person, many times.  She would try to meet that person.  If you lived too far for her to send someone to fetch that coworker, she'd have gang stalkers follow that person around taking pictures of them.  If you were like me, you noticed.  It was embarrassing.

God only knows what Lori has told the gang stalkers about you.  In my case gay and HIV-positive were her favorites, but she needed more.  So she probably did her usual thing where she transfers her criminal acts and feelings and projects them onto you.  It would explain all the dirty looks and odd behavior.  I'm really nonchalant about most people, but when you are crowding me and scowling, I get defensive.

If a computer was learning or training directly from a real human being and there were thousands of people implanted, like we are, we could be training a computer or A.I. Robot to learn all different human responses to various common problems.  The problem with that is in the collection from people that don't even know they are subjects to this.  Then you have the issue of the AI becoming smarter than its trainer.  The next step is the loss of employment and its ability to have at least one human being that it has solved.  The kind of stuff facing humanity has always been something that we could control after studying it or learning more about it.  In this case, there are unlimited opportunities to steal from humans to make AI better...do we really need to have computers that are actively making decisions for us?  What's wrong with failing?  The quality of humanity comes in our individuality and ability to express beyond what a computer could know.  We need to look long and hard at the world we are creating.

Remember the Oppenheimer's?  They wanted to make a new energy source that was easy to make...they ended up making the atomic bomb which changed the world forever.  AI is new enough that regulations on the tech need to be considered.  Before manufacturers get information directly from our brains, we need to consider the case of Lori Jean LaFond and what she did with this system.  Not all people are out to help humanity...some want it to suffer.

I want people to also remember that in addition to being implanted, unwillingly and without informed consent about this tech, the Palm Springs, California victims were intentionally infected with HIV.  It's a signature and an ambush.  It is a whole lot of stuff to deal with when you have no idea that this tech exists and when you haven't put yourself at risk.  The mind games start early with this crime.  Lori is an expert at playing with people's minds, but some resist, some go along, and some wither.  It's really hard to know who is who.  I'm not one to give up and I'm a legal person so for me, I had no choice but to research and respond.  I need to be able to make sense of what was a really abnormal life.  It's part of my character.  Helping others is my nature.  Christopher's too.
