I tried, tonight, to explain to the parents of my friends why doing what Jeffrey has done has only left his own family open to be stolen from forever. I tried to let them all know that this approach has done nothing more than prove that these criminals can rob rich people at will and as long as Jeffrey has more money than all of them, they can do it with impunity.
What did they take away from it? Kevin is being mean to us. He's telling these mind criminals how to get away with robbing us. That isn't the point at all. The point is that when you set a precedent and you force everyone to follow it, you show the criminals where you are weak. Not putting Lori back in jail shows everyone that she can rob Jeffrey's family as often as she wants, including his kids, and if she can't then one of the other operators can, because he refuses to put her in jail. It's the gold standard of criminal activity. A mark with endless funds that doesn't turn the criminal in. Why steal from me, if Lori can steal from a billionaire that has shown he'd rather hurt me than stop her?
This whole situation has me longing for my bed and a dark room to hide in.
Unbelievable how little respect I get for trying to help rich people.
So much money, so little class.
It's a better plan to help Lori rob poor people than it is to admit he made a mistake with a stripper. Rich people robbing poor people, isn't that just the way?
So sad for Benjamin.
