They all have stories...they all have friends. Some of them even have kids that have been implanted, infected, and stalked. It's time we put Anthony back to work doing the job that he does best...interviewing and researching!
You all know that during the Andrew Cunanan (DaSilva) days, Anthony and I were close enough to that monstrosity to deliver the kind of research that people like Maureen Orth used for her book, "Vulgar Favors" a best seller in the true crime genre. Anthony scored the interview that everyone wanted, Andrew's mom. The little known secret, Anthony worked with Andrew at a local San Diego restaurant before the killing spree and I was an outspoken advocate for people staying as far away from that crazy mess of a person as possible. My friends all knew I was not a fan of Andrew's and neither was Anthony, but we still were able to help bring a clearer picture of the sociopath that was always a tick or two from exploding. Enter Lori LaFond.
Now, we are challenged with bringing you Lori LaFond. I've said that I'd rather spend an hour with Andrew than five minutes with Lori and I've dropped that time to one hour for Andrew, thirty seconds with Lori now.
Lori has a long history with celebrities in Palm Springs. From Chi Chi LaRue (pictured above...muah babe!) to Suzanne Sommers, Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner, Lindsay Wagner, Robert Downey Jr., Earl Greenberg, Brad Pitt/Angie Jolie, Duran Duran, and many others. Their lives and businesses have been impacted by Lori in ways that not everyone understands. It is my intention to bring to light their stories about what it is like to be a celebrity in a city like Palm Springs where the police are implanted with RFID chips and are being instructed by a drug dealer. These people are real. They know lots of friends and family members that have been hurt by Lori and her cohorts. What I am hoping to do is to add some more depth to our investigation with stories from celebrities that are a part of our community through business and family.
What you will find from Anthony's interviews are real stories about people that have an economic impact on Palm Springs, but a personal relationship with some of the victims. He's amazing as an interviewer and he really understands the need to tell this story through the people that have withstood the heartache, financial loss, and pain of watching someone go through what Lori has done.
I hope we can have a lot of celebrities that have performed and lived here to get involved in this project for humanity.
Love always,
Kevin and Christopher
