Why Jussie Smollett Reminds Me Of Lori Jean LaFond

I just want to remind everyone that I am an advocate for the LGBTQ community and I represent the victims of someone that files false police reports that throw innocent men in jail.

Jussie Smollett, say what you want, he's not done anything but put himself in the middle of great debate right now.  Planned or not, this man wanted attention and he wanted it his way.  Now that people paid attention to the crime he said was committed against him, he doesn't like what they found out.  Jussie, it appears, was lying about the circumstances surrounding his assault.  What to do about a gay man that is using the gay community as a crutch for his own billboard?  We know that we are in much the same situation with Lori and her friends.  Exploitation of any minority that has struggled with police misconduct is highly frowned upon.  What this man has done has hurt everyone but now he wants you to feel sorry for him or it is racist.  Huh?

He has no idea what it is like to be a real victim of a crime that can't get police attention for it.  He has made everyone suspicious that files these kinds of reports and for a hate crime victims' advocate it is really hard to understand why someone would want to be the victim of something like this.  Apparently, he doesn't know either.

Lori LaFond does much the same thing hundreds of times and gets away with it.  Filing false police reports or 911 calls have cost the Palm Springs LGBTQ community immeasurably.  Now we have so many victims that don't know how good police work is really done.  It seems amazing to me that anyone could get away with what Lori has without a single mention on the news or newspapers.  Her reign of terror has lasted for nearly thirty years.  Oh she can use fake i.d. after fake i.d., but nobody ever finds her and holds her to task for all the problems she caused by "pretending to be the victim".

I know for a fact that her own sister filed a false affidavit in my restraining order case that acknowledges that Lori worked for the City of LaQuinta.  The reason I know it is false is because I'm the party involved and I know I never contacted Lori's real sister.  I didn't even know she had one.  Once I saw this, I knew that Lori LaFond was "Lisa".  Only "Lisa" would make this kind of stuff up and send it to Commissioner Best for his cluelessness.  When that worked she went even farther to have an arrest warrant issued from that restraining order.  Remember, the entire time that restraining order was in place, Lori continued to harass me using this system.  It would appear that Lori wants things all her way.  She wants me to stop blogging so that she can yell at me without any kind of protection for myself.  I write to protect my family...the only person that tried to take that away was Lori LaFond, she put her own name on it.  She lied and didn't mention being in Sedona, Arizona just weeks before the bogus order was issued.

Exploiting the victims that she made, Lori has become a one woman wrecking crew when it comes to putting her own rape victims in jail.  People make too big a deal out of someone's sexuality but it does bear mentioning that this is likely a lesbian that is committing crimes against her own community by lying.  It's a sad thing to see someone exploit our minority then try to use her gender as an excuse.  It's constantly changing defenses for Lori, somedays she's offended that someone would say she's a lesbian but on the same day she uses the "poor defenseless woman" technique.  The two aren't exactly mutually exclusive.  Lesbians are women and any law that seeks to protect women by virtue of their gender or sexuality isn't legal.  Equal rights mean a person is a person regardless of their gender or sexuality.

What I find interesting is how many times Lori starts the fight then hides behind her gender or sexuality.  Neither is an appropriate defense.  You can't expect to go around infecting people with a deadly virus and think that "because you are a woman" it's any different.  You can't go around beating a person's skull in and say, "but I'm a defenseless woman."  She made the decision to enter the home where I was sleeping and attack me.  Whether she has sex with men or women or both doesn't matter.  A person committed a crime and she should be investigated fully for it.

Certainly what Jussie is accused of isn't the same as what Lori has done, but taking from a minority by using that minorities' problems and exploiting them isn't the way to get attention.  It's the wrong way.  Blaming rape victims for other crimes to have them arrested and put in jail, only serves the rapist.  I don't think any other rapist in history has had this much police support.  When they had the chance to catch her, they let her go.  That was a really poor decision.  The past 12 years since the rape and beating have not seen Lori back off one bit.  In fact, I think the Chief of Police's decision not to investigate my rape better, has done damage that can't be fixed.  There has to be accountability...thus far, I'm the one paying the price for that bad decision.
