I loved this cartoon but the reality isn't that there are a lot of haystacks and you are looking for a needle when you are an addict. The truth is that there is a mountain of needles and you're trying to find the teensiest haystack because it's real, it's your life, it's organic. Addicts aren't addicts because they aren't finding drugs...it's because the drugs keep them from finding themselves. Any good drug addict will tell you, finding drugs is simple. Finding yourself after using them is hard.
The less you think you have a future or life, the more you are likely to think drugs will make you feel better...that's the whole cycle. The truth is that you either stop or you don't.
How much father is the bottom? If you are still breathing I guess you think there is further...for me, that was too far.
Nobody likes dealing with shit...but when you put it off and put it off, somehow the shit becomes what controls you and drugs make you feel like not dealing with it. Every bill eventually gets paid or they get bigger...until something happens.
I like dealing with my problems now about as much as anybody does, but at least I'm done with them when they are dealt with.
