Before we get to the humor, I would sincerely like to thank all of you on behalf of Christopher and his mom and sister for all of your love and support. Today, as most of you that have followed us know, my mom and family spend the first half of the day feeding Marines that haven't been able to go home for the holiday. A group of women that my family is friendly with, puts together full Thanksgiving dinners for about a hundred Marines from our area. I'll be delivering the food later today with my nieces' husbands to the inn where the celebration takes place.
Since my father had kidney surgery a few weeks ago, we are spending this Thanksgiving at home for the first time in five years or so. My mom has been working really hard at keeping this family tradition alive so she's been cooking for two days. I'll try to take some pictures of the celebration, but this is just one of the really terrific things that my family does for the community of Twentynine Palms.
I want, as always, to wish my friends and families a Happy Thanksgiving and want to let them know how happy I am that they are part of this project for justice. My producers are working harder than ever to help us finish the investigative part of this project. We are especially sensitive to those parents that are not reading this blog but have children that have been lost to this horrid experiment because of HIV/AIDS that they were intentionally infected with or for other nefarious reasons. God forbid that some victim's mother, father or family member died while he was serving some jail sentence that he did not deserve. At some point it is my desire for every family to learn about what Laurie and Brian did to their kid through transcripts...from the siblings own computer transcriptions. Laurie and Brian required everyone that has this program to monitor their thinking so that they would do everything that they said, but what it has turned in to is a very long listing of victims tortured by these two. I strongly believe that family members of every victim should be made aware of what happened to their kid. It's the right thing to do.
For all of my other parents working on their own parts of this project, I want you to know that the understanding that you provide my friends is more valuable than anything else. We all need so much love from you all to heal the pain and scars of the past. None of us take for granted how lucky we are to have our friends helping us out with the things we could never have afforded to do. Thanks Jeff and Marilyn...you are super special people, we've been so lucky to have you here for so long.
All that being said, it's time for "Un-Happy No-Thanks-Giving" from Laurie and Brian LaHumBug:
(Under Construction...It is Thanksgiving afterall)
