I can still remember the day when I was staying with Chuck Cheeld and Steven Frey came over and neither Chuck, Gary Bowman nor I could figure out what was wrong when we looked at him. Steven was obviously in a bad state of mind, but to look at him, we couldn't tell what was different...then it dawned on one of us...he'd shaved his eyebrows completely off. Look at this picture above...at first you don't really notice it, then you can't stop staring at it.
When we asked Steven what in the world would compel him to do that...he couldn't really come up with an answer. It looked, stupid. He came up with some stupid story about someone shaving them off...but he never really did explain it.
Now, looking back, I know exactly what happened.
