Steven Frey and Jackson Velin had no idea how horrible life got for me once they turned my life over to Laurie and Brian without their friendship...after all I tried to help them with...it was a serious blow to what had already been a difficult situation. At first I turned to Mark Finley...and that worked for about three weeks, then Laurie took that job and friendship too...there was nothing left.
After being asked to be an informant and telling Bryan Anderson, "I would think about it", hoping Laurie and Brian would back off, I got sexually assaulted in Steven Frey's home. Obviously that didn't work. Then I started to ask Steven and Peter DiMartino, "did you have something to do with my sexual assault"...both denied it. I then learned that I had a contact with Hep C...which had never occurred before that night. Something obviously happened...nobody was talking...so, after telling Steven I was going to do so, I reported the rape.
Then the arrests started. The day after I reported the rape...within two days I was arrested twice. Laurie blamed it on Steven Frey, telling me that he was so "well connected with the police department that I shouldn't have reported it". You would have believed it too. I got arrested even when people didn't want to press charges. I was arrested for walking down the street crying. I was arrested sitting in my car. I got arrested and arrested and arrested so many times...and then I met Christopher...and he was going to be next. He was already a victim of rape...implanted...hearing voices and I wasn't going to do to him what Jackson and Steven did to me...throw me to her to attack and chew up. I knew what that was like.
Steven and Jackson and all of you should realize one thing...I DID NOT agree to be an informant until AFTER all of those arrests and police contacts were done...over the course of 8 months...about 15 or more contacts...including coming into two homes where I was preparing to sleep. Two jobs taken from me...and the threat of Christoper's safety being taken...for which he did a year and a half in state jail...
With Laurie blaming all of that on being "Steven's sister Sheree", "the Frey Effect", and the treatment he got from the police while I was around...you would have pointed the finger at him just like I did...and Christopher.
I knew what it felt like to walk into the buzz saw that are Laurie and Brian when you are new to town. Already implanted and with a long history with the two of them...and not knowing that they were behind it...and not yet hearing voices...I was perfect to be destroyed. Now so was Christopher....I had to make a choice to save myself and Christopher...so fuck everyone else, I chose us.
Steven Frey knows that the police were coming over to his house whether he wanted them there or not, so there is no way he doesn't understand this. What he didn't know is how many times they did this afterwards...so fucking many times that even going to sleep at night wasn't safe any longer. I think he can relate to that one as well. His own silence made him a target for informant work. This wasn't something that I wanted to do, it was something that I had to do. Now, two arrests later and jail and prison time under his belt, Steven should know one thing. She isn't going to stop coming for you unless you speak out against her and her brother. It just isn't going to happen. She sees you as a patsy...an easy mark...her property. If you don't show her that you aren't, she'll never let you go.
Even after I did the informant work, I still tried to save Steven Frey from this girl...I did everything I could outside of the restraining order to get him the information he needed. I called his attorney, his prosecutor and I tried to speak at his sentencing hearing...all thwarted by Laurie and Brian.
What Steven and Jackson need to know...is that Laurie constantly turned Steven into the bad guy...Jackson knows this is the truth too. My advice to the two of them is to tell Sgt. Anderson that this woman, whose name appears on the back of that card I gave Steven, is stalking them and their families...whether he does something or not...you would be much better off...and the arrests would then be questionable. Remember, she says that she is his former "four year girlfriend"...any attempt to let him know what she is like would look good for you in the future.
Rather than look like two assholes that didn't do something for the gay community in court...I would suggest to the both of them that now is the time to save whatever it is you do have...because my team is getting this project across the finish line. Not doing something to stop her or acting like you weren't going through this, is provable in court...whatever it are your misgivings...set them aside for your freedom, your family and your own reputations in the future. I don't ever want to do to someone else what I had done to me...sorry if that sounds callous, I know everyone deals with this in their own way...but silence is a crime.
On a court record this girl has already said that she doesn't know you both...I can prove that she does...so can my team with Jonathan Mendenhall and others...if you go on record with the police and claim not to know her...you could be prosecuted for a false report to police or an obstruction of justice. I just want everyone to have their chance to say what they want about how terrible or terrific they think she is. Saying you "don't know her" isn't an option. I would preserve your right to make money off of your personal stories in the future...if you commit a crime, you won't be able to.
Steven should also know that Sgt. Bryan Anderson knows both Laurie and Brian LaTweeker from high school...therefore a connection can be made between the two in court. It is a perfect situation for victims of this crime...that's why I chose him as my police contact. It put him in the situation to do the most harm or good. Impossible situations being what Laurie loves the most, I chose to put others in the position that they put me in...and it works. There isn't any way that I'm going to go to jail without talking about what I can prove.
Also...Steven Frey should know that because microwave hearing is called "The Frey Effect"...he needs to understand that believing that he was somehow behind all of this wasn't a difficult jump. Look it up Steven. The microwave auditory effect is named after Allan Frey...and it is hearing using microwaves. There was no way, after what I'd been put through, that I wouldn't have connected Steven with this technology that bears his OWN LAST NAME. Think about it...wouldn't you?
