Our intelligence will prove later that Laurie's past "conversations" with Rae Fernandez will show that, as a police officer, she knew Jonathan Mendenhall, a fugitive from justice, isn't dead and that Laurie used this entire period of his hiding to threaten, cajole and try to convince him not to tell the world about remote neural monitoring and the police department. Isn't that kind of sinister? Why would any cop allow this kind of threatening to go on? These two women must really think that all of us are stupid and that it won't look like the police were intentionally giving Laurie time to hurt us...that's what it seems like tonight with the way Laurie is talking to me.
Civil rights tend to be something that our police department doesn't value when it comes to electronic harassment victims...indeed they gave up many of theirs by allowing themselves to be constantly monitored. My team does not monitor police officers, they only monitor people that have given them expressed permission to do so. I have no control over whom is being monitored by my team at all...I, myself have never seen this system nor used it. I do know that they are closely monitored by our attorneys that have worked this case for about seven or eight years now.
Jonathan will be "dead" four years on Christmas day...which is twelve days from today. For four years nobody has done anything to find out why he is in hiding after someone made it look like he died. Perhaps he is in fear for his life from whomever it was that made him look dead...that would make sense to me.
