3:40 AM and Laurie is still talking in drug induced circles. Have you ever heard someone talk so much that eventually they start to sound like Charlie Brown's teacher? Blah-blah-blah...
Right now she's stuck on "how mean everyone is to her"...making her mountains of crime into tiny little molehills. I don't think that she understands that no matter how you are pretending to be at that moment, your past indiscretions are still yours.
Like a dog chasing her own tail, she goes round and round never quite able to get ahold of herself...so she snaps at everyone else.
Nobody forced her to seek restraining orders and lie. Nobody forced her to follow me. Nobody forced her to contact all of my acquaintances and friends. Nobody made her involve her own family. Nobody made her try to hurt me. She did all this to herself and thinks that all of you will just forget about it so she can do it again. I can tell you this...I won't forget what she did...if you were me, you wouldn't be able to forget it either. I don't seek revenge...I just want justice for Christopher and myself. I want the legal system to work for us this time. Nothing sinister should be implied by this...Laurie will try that too...it's simply this: Crimes were committed against us and nobody was ever caught for it...we want good police work and the criminal justice system to do their jobs...we did ours.
