It's Christmas and I have so many people to say thank you to.
First is Christopher. Man you make my whole life feel better, but then again, you did that from the first day I met you. I know that this year has been super hard for you, but I promise that as soon as I can, I will make it up to you in a humongous way. All I wanted to do was give you the gift of HOPE this year. I know that when you came to California, you came to start something beautiful for yourself and you ended up with this. God brought you here for a reason...you taught me this. I am so thankful for your grace and goodness! I love what you do for me on every level...
Second, Mrs. Monti and Amanda...I know I let you down and I have never tried harder in my life to make up for it. I hope that 43,000 blog hits makes up for what I couldn't communicate to you in person. I told you I would watch out for Christopher...and I did it the only way I could. With love and dignity. Angel wings and prayers.
The Katzenbergs to whom I will forever be indebted to on a personal and professional level. You have inspired me to be a better Kevin...a more honest Kevin...a man...I need to thank you all for your family's time and effort. One day at a time...making up for a lifetime of wondering if I had it. Now I know I do. Your son is a gift that I could never find in a store.
Martin...my soul brother...the nicest guy, the toughest guy, the smartest guy...and the cutest. Thanks for your continued efforts to make things right!!
My team...you know who you are....Anthony, Jonathan, the Mendenhalls, Barbara...this woman will amaze you all...the girls...the guys...the attorneys...you know who I really am...please help me tell the world who we ALL really are. Afterall, we deserve it more than most.
Finally, my family, that know so much less than what they should but supports me better than any family should. I love my mom and dad and sister so much. My great nieces and their boyfriends/husbands...the babies on their way...I am inspired by growth...
And finally again, all of you...friends of friends and victims of this crime. We are united in terror, but together with hope...I know that God will end this pain with your support and concern for one another...who knew this could get so big? Please keep coming back...we need your love.
Thanks for the best year yet,
Kevin and Christopher
