Dear Everyone,
For years I have been telling you that Palm Springs, California is in the middle of an epidemic when it comes to electronic harassment. We are in the very unique position to know exactly whom the perpetrators of this crime are. I hope that you realize the gravity of this situation, but if you don't let me spell it out for you. You are the people in charge of this city and how it is run. I have told you innumerous times that this crime is being perpetrated against hundreds of gay men and their families in our area. If you don't do something you could be held liable for civil damages in the amount of up to $10,000 per day/per victim until this situation is rectified. My team and I are dangerously close to exposing this problem to the world and I am begging you, for the sake of the city, to do something aggressive and legal about the Johnson Family and their participation in electronic harassment regardless of the PSPD's participation in this situation. Not doing so could potentially bankrupt this city and could put a black eye on this community for years to come. This is not what I want to happen. I say, make the criminals be responsible for their crimes. Please click on the link above and READ THE CALIFORNIA LAW AGAINST IT'S USE AND ASK YOURSELF, WOULD THERE BE SUCH A LAW IF THIS WASN'T POSSIBLE AND HAPPENING???? Palm Springs is the worst city in the country for this crime...it would stand to reason that we should be the city to stop it. We know the criminals...we have the evidence...but we need your support.
Visit my Electronic Harassment Parent Coalition of Palm Springs Blog and know that I wouldn't even participate in such a project if there wasn't a need for it. The parents of these victims are FURIOUS. Perpetrators like Jonathan Mendenhall, Tracy Johnson, and Stephen Johnson Jr. should be held to answer for their participation in this crime....I would suggest doing so before our attorneys sink their teeth into this situation. Your participation at this stage could save the city millions of dollars because I made you aware of it's existence. Please do something constructive...
Thank You,
Kevin L. Bond
