Serial killers have been around since the beginning of time.  We know the statistics, but we also need to understand something...most serials are men, but there have been women in the past.  Female serials have a different approach than their male counterparts.  What Lori does is intentionally infect gay men and women with her tainted blood...which the law calls poisoning.  Female serial killers are far more likely to poison their victims than men.  So Lori isn't much different than her other female serials.  Also, Lori or her brother Brian, use a barbiturate to knock their victims unconscious...which is also poisoning by the law.
The victims of Lori LaFond are given an inordinate amount of HIV in syringes.  When you think that one drop of blood can cause the infection that, if left untreated, will kill a person within 6 to 8 years.  Lori filled up syringes full of her tainted blood for decades before she figured out that needles aren't that easy to come by so wasting them on her victims wasn't as important as keeping them for themselves.  SO...Lori began freezing her blood.  She didn't realize that freezing would kill the AIDS virus and cause and antibody response in her victims.  A full syringe of her fresh blood can overwhelm a victim's immune system in a month and they could literally die of AIDS without really converting like a normal HIV patient.  So Lori learned that the more blood she gave her victims the faster they would die.
Also Lori has a bacterial staph infection in her lungs... so she coughs inside the mouths of her unconscious victims so that they will get bacterial staph pneumonia which isn't related to HIV usually.  It is something that the hospital in Palm Springs is highly aware of.  
The victims are knocked unconscious so they don't always know that they've been raped.  Some do because Lori loves to bash their heads in.  Skull MRI's have been stolen from that hospital for other victims.  Some victims found better care at Eisenhower in Palm Desert because Lori couldn't steal MRI's there.  Remember if you are a normal HIV patient you know if you've had unprotected sex, you aren't on antivirals and there is a chance of infection.  You don't use needles so the only way you could be infected would be from that unprotected sex.  If you haven't been unsafe, to become HIV positive is impossible unless you have been knocked unconscious and were raped.
Our HIV study shows that gay men that are implanted mostly got HIV from a woman.  That woman is Lori Jean LaFond.  Test her and find out.  Render her untransmissible before she strikes again.  It's about public safety as much as it is about domestic terrorism.  Think about it Chief Reyes.
