For those of you still in the dark about the differences between Covid-19 and HIV, let me give you the clear perspective...you know the one that "science" provides!
The HIV rate of new infections in the UK went from about 2700 in 2011 to 1700 new infections in 2019, probably even less in 2020 as the year comes to a close. On the contrary there were 2170 new cases of corona virus just yesterday in the State of California. This, unlike the AIDS virus kills the people that die within 2 months of infection. HIV, a manageable disease, is slowing down the death rate to a miniscule number in patients taking the new antiviral routines that have been developed. This means that the corona virus is just as deadly as the AIDS virus and it is being passed on at a much faster rate. Not everyone will die from this virus like the HIV virus once promised to do for patients, but that doesn't mean it won't kill someone you love.
The coronavirus can be stifled by using simple hygiene and by wearing a mask properly. Cleaning your hands and wearing a mask can stop the spread of this disease if you follow strict social distancing measures and hygiene practices. This virus will be stopped much faster than the HIV virus in the future, but until then remember it's only two to three month for most that will die from coronavirus in the meantime. Protect your loved ones, wear a mask.
If you have HIV, take the meds. If you don't, take PREP and use proper safe sex methods, like condoms and abstinence. Remember these viruses can be stopped, but it's up to the individual to be responsible.
