It never ceases to amaze me when you consider the Holocaust. Millions of people lost their lives in horrible ethnic and sexual cleansing. Oh yeah, you forgot about us too? Yeah, that was the sound of me correcting you when you said, "Kevin shouldn't talk about the Holocaust, it's a Jewish tragedy." Yeah, it is, but you know who was buried and burned in the graves right next to the Jews, the same people that the Jews denounced, the gays. How horrible it must have been for the Jews that had to be grouped together with those awful gays...
At some point, you should realize that the Holocaust was just as costly for the gays as it was for the Jews and we didn't hate the Jews for being Jewish, but the Jews certainly weren't on our side either.
If you count one gay life as ten Jewish lives you can see the impact that this had on our culture too. In numbers alone, it would take ten times the generations of people to regain our population. That means if one in ten people killed was gay...there would have to be ten more born to make one gay. The prejudice in the Jewish community against the gays was awful too...pre-war LGBTQ numbers are still lower than then.
Old habits die hard, prejudices are the same. Today I want you to understand one thing...I was trying to stop a human rights crime, Jeffrey and Marilyn were trying to stop a human....me.
The tactics were brutal. The damage is permanent. The relationships are strained and destroyed. The money is gone. The hope is strangled. Human rights were trampled. It's almost amazing what one man will do to be right...or one woman. Lori's spent a lifetime trying to make right what she made wrong so many years ago. Now that her father is gone, she's still trying to fit square pieces in round holes. There was no need for Jeffrey and Marilyn to demonize me, they just used the oldest tactic in the book...homophobia. Like I didn't have enough of that in Lori.
Right now I'm thinking about tanking this whole project simply because it was meant to HELP parents to understand what has happened to their gay son. From what I've seen from the parents of my friends, it isn't worth informing about. I told all of them that Lori was the person that did this to their son. The HIV and the human experimentation...why hasn't that been the topic of discussion instead of "helping Missy and Bessie"? Clearly, when Missy and David bailed out Brian and Lori with Jeffrey's money, there was a line crossed between helping parents and parents helping the criminals.
When Jeffrey joined Marilyn here I did everything humanly possible to provide them with information that even Missy and Bessie weren't willing to give them. They turned this into a homosexual fag hunt and I was their target. Making me homeless, taking my money, forcing family drama, allowing thieves to come to my homes to steal keys, money, clothes, electronics without a call to police...unfathomable to me. It was a fag hunt. That's what it's been ever since Sedona. I contend now as I did then, you don't bail out someone just to put them back in jail, which means that Jeffrey bailed out someone accused of a heinous crime against a child in favor of a drug dealer that raped them. That's not what a parent blog is for...it's a shame that I'm gay or that child might have been safe. Through no fault of mine, he was raped and ignored.
This blog was intended to inform people because the police are biased against the gays...now the parents are too.
