If my buddy Klay Thompson wants to derive some inspiration, I would suggest that the University of Hawaii's Men's Volleyball Team has finally lost one set 23-25 in 74 sets, but they are still undefeated this year in play. If you want to see another team that knows how to win, this is the team. They are my newest obsession and when you think of how many times they've dominated...it's like playing 18.5 games of basketball and NOT LOSING ONE SINGLE QUARTER OR TYING. That is almost impossible to do. When you consider that they won each set by an average of 8.5 points. This would mean that for the first 18 and a half games of basketball they won their matches by an average of 32 points per game!!!
They play in Long Beach this weekend and it's #1 vs #2..., if I could, I would be heading to Long Beach State for this one. You might get a chance to see the best men's college teams in history.
That should get Klay and Steph to swish!!!
