I Saw This Video And Thought That Perhaps This IS Part Of The Problem: Rape IS Rape And I Was Raped By A Woman!!!

You know how sensitive we have to be these days?  It's gotten to the point where everyone is comparing a man's experience to a woman's experience, a gay man's experience to a black man's experience.  I'm going out on a limb here to say that it's wrong to compare any minorities' experience to any others for specific similarities.  I've always said that I know what it is like for a "gay man in Palm Springs" but I am assuming that there are similarities for a black man in Chicago.  I always ask.  Though I know what it is like to be targeted by the police, is it really the same?

Obviously, my discrimination is based on my sexuality and theirs, skin color.  One is based purely on sight, black skin, black man.  One is based on information, what's his sexuality?

I think it is interesting that if you substitute a black person into this video above it would be considered racist...but if a black man says it to another black man, it's a comedy.  If a white guy singles out black prison inmates as the perpetrator of crime, it's also racist.   The fact is that we can't ever make fun of the frailties of others without someone crying racism, discrimination and foul.  There once was a time when making fun of someone was acceptable...but now, we've blurred the lines and trying to establish new ones isn't easy.

The most remarkable thing is that in our country we already have laws that say, every person is the same under the law.  That means man/woman, black/white, straight/gay...all the same.

Personally, I like when I am made fun of.  I know that it isn't helpful to others and I still laugh.  I'm gay so I already know the things people say. but others have a different sense of humor and what's funny to me might not be funny to everyone else.  All fine.  There is such a movement to keep human beings from being human beings these days...we all have to act and say all the right things but there isn't any one way to do that.

They know it when it's wrong, but where is right?

I think that minorities all do have things in common...most of that stems from not being equal in reality when the laws say that's what it is.  If more people took to heart that everyone is the same, maybe then we'd stop shooting each other for attention or infamy.  There is a can of worms here and I'm not opening it.  All I want to know is how can I make you laugh without hurting someone else...I have to think everything through all the time lately.  What kinds of conversations are like that?  Your friend says something to you and you have to filter all of it for content before you give your reply that has to be thought out before you say something offensive to someone you don't know...it's all about p.c.!

When the word "bro" becomes offensive to the point of anger...I'm outta here.

My point is this.  People don't get along anymore.  They don't talk like they should to find out what is and what is not offensive.  I believe that a joke, good or bad, is a joke.  It may reflect things about you, but its intent was to make you laugh.  If you didn't, it wasn't funny to you.  If you did, it makes you a bad person if you laughed and it offended someone else.  I like to entertain as much as I do inform, sometimes more one than the other.  I have a job to do but I have already fallen victim to the ignorance of other people.  What I said got me in trouble, but it illustrated my point beautifully.  You have to take the good with the bad, I guess, but you wouldn't read this blog if I couldn't use humor as a weapon against ignorance.  You laugh, you learn.

I can't stand thinking of anyone being raped, that's what got me raped oddly enough.  I told Steven Frey that I am sickened by anyone that would knock someone out and have sex with them and it triggered my rapist to do just that to me.  I take full responsibility for my belief that sex with an impaired person is just as bad as sex with an unconscious person, but when the person that rapes uses that kind of information to plan the rape...it's gone too far.  That's when this technology supports the rapist and her fetishes as she calls them.

She doesn't rape the previously infected...she seeks HIV negative men, hopefully a "top", to infect then send out to infect more people.  She seeks out men that are 100% safe sex fanatics to infect.  This is when the monster becomes a beast!!!

This system of mind reading is loaded with pitfalls, but talking about it seems to make me a target for more hate.  How do I turn that into my advantage?  I know who the rapist is, why isn't that important?
