Learning More About Social Justice Advocacy Work...So Much To Learn!

When I started this it was mostly to save Christopher's life and dream of living here in California.  I remember the day I met him in person and knew then that Lori would never accept anyone in my life that loved me.  The choices that were made along with the sacrifices are find on a personal level even though they were harder than I could ever explain.  When you miss someone, you miss them.  You can't change it with all the postings that my fingers could type.

Every time I think of this challenge and what it has grown in to, it was always easier to advocate for my friends than it was to do it for myself.  There's something about distancing yourself from just your experience that allows you to understand people that you've met better.  I won't lie, there were some victims of this crime that were pretty nasty to me, but in the end, they weren't playing on a level playing field either.  Who knows who they really were when they had to be someone else for Lori?

I met a ton of guys in Palm Springs that were all tied by the strings Lori wrapped around their necks and she wore like a charm bracelet.  Actually I think there is a unification of victims on a jockstrap that Lori use to wear too...nasty ass thing.  Who knows how many victims have blood on that filthy athletic supporter.  Good thing Junior only wore an extra tiny strap is all I can say.  LOL (That's done by waist size btw, not basket)  Can you imagine wearing the blood of your victims to every single rape?  That's like a chain of evidence she can not deny.  Why is she the only female DNA on a jock strap full of men's DNA?  It's easy, this was her rape uniform.  Jonathan calls it "Junior's Jockstrap" in an article from Odyssey Magazine.  You know her fat ass stretched that thing out.

Not sexy.

So now my team and I are challenged with trying to make things right again.  Big task after this many years.  Thanks to science the HIV and Hep C. can be managed or cured.  These were two huge concerns.  I already had a death sentence in 1987...I'm still here after that, a bullet through my car window, a terrible gay bashing and another attempt to infect me with a much more mutated strand of the virus and various & sundry other things.  I'm here because God wanted me to be here.  That's a challenge to Lori, I'll just bet you.

Learning to advocate for social justice involves every minority when you are LGBTQ, that means we have to have friends of all sizes and shapes, colors, religious beliefs and disabilities...these people are all a part of the LGBTQ community.  We can't relax.  Lots went on here and we have a country to protect, then the world.

I'm putting in the time to learn the best ways to advocate...I hope others will too.
