Ah, yes the good old days at "Camp Palm Springs" which is now called "Azure" a family resort (not gay family by the way, mom, dad and kids) now that was pretty much ruined for the gay community by the one and only Lori LaFond.
I like to call this post "Mein Kampf Palm Springs" to honor all of the destruction that Lori has done to the gay resort industry in Palm Springs, California with the help of her "goon squad" of implanted police officers that believed everything that Lori told them.
There are lots of clothing optional resorts in Palm Springs, California. It is where sun worshippers would come from everywhere to escape the snow and get a tan. One thing that I know about is Lori's absolute hatred for the "men only" resorts that she feels discriminate against women. Technically, I have worked at these places and the rule isn't "no women" it's just that the front desk tells them about the clientèle and that most women aren't comfortable with nude gay men everywhere. Most of the time women appreciate the head's up and want to stay somewhere more appropriate. In Lori's case, she's pissed off that she can't stay there and order the gay men to have sex in front of her. Lori has always been the kind of person that likes to order gay men around especially in the sex arena.
Most of the resorts have kicked Lori out because of her erratic behavior and they don't want her around. Perfectly understandable when you see the way she behaves and how many times she was stealing from the guests.
Lori spent so much time telling the police lies about what "goes on inside" of these places that the police started to believe her. These resorts are a huge part of Palm Springs history and the Warm Sands area has been a "project in progress" for years and years. Lori wants them all closed down because gay men are her least favorite people and she isn't welcome there. It's like when her VIP status was cancelled and she was thrown out of the titty bar in Cathedral City. Once Lori isn't welcome, these places are on her list. She'll tell you that everything from drugs to prostitution is going on inside with everyone. Listen folks I've worked at many hotels, what is going on inside the rooms, I have no idea about. It isn't their business. Lori thinks that because so many of her victims were there that she could be some kind of spy for the PSPD.
She tells everyone that she is striking a blow for "women's rights" but I don't know of any woman that wants to sit around a pool full of naked gay men. It isn't about keeping her out, it is about having a place to go where we are accepted. No woman that I ever saw was upset about being told about the people that stayed there and there are female alternatives around too. Lori just isn't interested in the women aspect when she wants to control some kind of sexual action. Gay men usually feel like they can't be themselves when a woman is there and stay in their rooms. To punish them, Lori decided to campaign against these places...her own "Mein Kampf Palm Springs".
Lori's notes are full of lies and stories about these places and I've been to most of them. She isn't telling the truth except for the time I saw her at one where she was pretending to be "Jessica". I saw her face there. The person I was there with had a long and torrid relationship with Jessica and his bank account. We are working to find Micah so that he can tell you himself how much money Jessica stole from him and his family. This is a story that proves that Lori is only talking shit about these resorts because she sees them as an opportunity to make more victims of this crime.
Police need to respect the privacy of these resorts. It isn't what Lori makes it out to be. I should know, I'm one of the people that she spied on the most there and what she has to say is highly exaggerated. They are a great place for gay men to meet other gay men from other places. What they do from there on is DEFINITELY NOT THE PSPD'S BUSINESS. They should be more concerned with the girl that isn't there but knows everything that goes on. Our police department needs to understand, Lori isn't welcome where we go and what she did to spy on us there is a huge privacy breach and illegal as Hell. She lies about everything.
Why would one woman know so much about gay men when she hates them with a passion? What she has to say is never going to be good because she isn't a part of it.
Let's hope she never is.
