One misplaced Riverside Department of Justice Lab DNA report that got into our hands, my own blood and a sample of her blood and we have the whole story now! It's amazing how one confirmation from the CDC can change the whole course of an investigation when you start to understand that someone is taking care of their HIV infection and someone else is storing their blood to give it to someone else, twenty years after they gave it to them the first time, isn't it?
I think it is amazing how far science has come in understanding this disease. What I really relish is how little someone like Lori doesn't understand it. I've spent nearly thirty years trying to understand how I could have been infected when I never had sex or used intravenous drugs at 19 years old. Now that I know who I got it from and who tried to reinfect me twenty years later with a much older and longer strain of the same virus, it makes sense to me that some of us want to live and some people just want to kill. I'm not surprised by the strange trip through adulthood that one of us took and that the other one never did.
You'll see that the stories that one person never stopped telling about the other were a pack of lies and that the other never had a word to say about her. When you finally hear the real story behind this crime you will understand that I've never been the person that Lori wanted me to be. I refuse to let any of you believe different. You need to see the evidence for yourselves and make up your own minds. I'll let you convince yourselves who lived a life and who tried to take them away.
I'm confident that a reasonable person will come to a conclusion that I can live with.
Just one more piece of the puzzle is left Lori...wonder when that piece is going to be placed? Are you ready? I know I am.
