40 years older than Laurie, this dictator, is finally laid to rest with his "if only everyone thought the way that I do" attitude. Fidel Castro passed away today and the world is a safer place because of his passing. This guy was responsible for pointing nukes at the United States for Russia and locked his people up for many years. This ruthless dictator oppressed Cubans to the point where they would do almost anything to escape their island prison to come to the United States for a better life.
It reminds me of Laurie who tried for many years to keep gay men and women from their families by isolating them from contacting the people that they loved while she threw them in jail. I love when Laurie's idols fall. It means so much to me to see people that share her ideals lose power. Let's pray that Cuba finds much more happiness in the post-Castro years! Viva Cuba!
