And where are the police? Are they in the overstuffed wallet of Jeffrey Katzenberg's "plan that never materializes" or are they seriously using the informants that have been there and want to help stop this crime? It is all really about the money when it comes to his side, but when it comes to ours, it is about justice for time served. The victims know all too well that if you give Laurie enough time and enough help, she will find a way to blackmail you into submission. She thinks of it as her "superpower", the rest of us think of it as bullshit.
There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to be leading this team but three law enforcement offices and myself. I am the expert when it comes to this crime. Jonathan Mendenhall, Barbara and myself are experts when it comes to Laurie. There is one of us for each department and all of us know what to do when it comes to stopping Laurie from conjuring up another way to hurt another person for her benefit. We've all watched in dismay as yet another person has been put in a position that he allowed to take place. Jeffrey allowed Laurie's obsession into his home to sabotage this team for her success. She's been doing it for so long now that she literally can tell them all, "I'm doing this to your family so that mine can be better off," and they all sit there dumbfounded. It's sickening. I can't imagine the kind of stranglehold it would take to have on a person to yield that kind of bravado in front of his own wife and children. That takes some kind of tits!
Above you will read that members of my own team used this system against me and others, that's not exactly the truth. The problem is that my team wanted to do the right things, they were instructed NOT TO by Missy and Jeffrey. They saw what was happening, and were instructed to follow Jeffrey's orders. They were always the worst pieces of advice. He's the man in charge. He makes the decision, but Missy pulls all the strings. You see he's a business man and he has no legal vision. Admittedly, he hates lawyers. That's a cliche among businessmen, but the truth is that they all have one or many because they know they are necessary. Surrounding himself with the wrong types of lawyers that tell him what he wants to hear is a bad idea. He has one that doesn't agree with him, I assume, but he won't listen to him. That one is probably a friend of mine. My friends that are lawyers have legal vision. They foresee problems and avoid them.
Rather than make decisions that would be smart using this technology, Jeffrey makes business decisions. Those are fine for business, but the human element is never considered. Legal decisions have human consequences in a criminal investigation. You have to take into consideration things like "negligent behavior" or "obstruction" or "is it legal" or "reasonable behavior" or "beyond a reasonable doubt"...these are concepts that a spinner doesn't get very often. You can't really spin well under circumstances where a human life is either dead or alive. Did your behavior cause this death by "negligence"? Well, is he "dead" or "alive"? Dead. Did you know Laurie intended to kill him? Yes. Did you do anything to stop it? No...."negligent". It's that simple.
You see you have to take steps to prevent crime too. Legal minds think that way. Jeffrey's doesn't. Mine does.
I should be leading this team and everyone knows it. It is that simple. I have no monetary concerns. I don't have some big pot of money for Laurie to steal from. I have one concern. To save my family from her crimes. Incidentally, I did this FOR JEFFREY but he sees me as the problem. I don't know why, but for some reason, I'm the asshole to him. What I did for him, he is ABSOLUTELY 100% AGAINST DOING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. He is the worlds worst example of pay it forward....but if there is something in it for him...he just might. I guess freedom isn't enough. Freedom, by the way Jeffrey, is not free.
