Why This Crime Is My Own Personal "Shrek"!

Hey you guys, remember Shrek?

It was the first animation from DreamWorks that put them in the market to compete with movies by Pixar and really put DreamWorks on the animation map.  Though the story was purchased by Steven Spielberg, the movie, itself was the baby of Jeffrey Katzenberg.  The voice of Shrek, originally to be performed by Chris Farley, was almost finished before his death.   The company rallied and brought in Mike Myers and the rest, after much re-animation, became legendary.

Some people like to liken this movie to Jeffrey's baby.  In other words, he really lived and breathed for this project.  There were risks involved and Jeffrey believed in this project enough to produce and put his name on it.  You don't see that very often with Jeffrey's movies.  He believed in Shrek through all of the turmoil and time and untimely deaths, because it was the best story to be told.  He loved the story and he put his friends in the roles that are now classics.

Then there's "HateLisa".  That's the name that is on this project.  Now, I know that many of the people that work on this investigation say, "this is a criminal investigation in progress" and it is.  The story was pitched online, on this very blog and one other, as a way to capture the attention of the DreamWork 5...SKG and their spouses, sorry Uncle David, I didn't know if I should include your non-spousal partner that we respect and love.  Pitching a movie in conjunction with a criminal investigation was a way to garner support for the victims of crime and to attract Hollywood's elite to the story of the century.  Believe me, this story is so good, it would sell itself...many, many times.  There are many people involved in this story that I call, "my story", and it is unfair of me to characterize it as mine, except for some very important points....I breathed life into this story and I brought it to your attention.  I've known "Lisa" longer than anyone and have been dealing with her almost my whole life.  I've almost died to bring you this story several times.  I've loved and lost for this story.  I've sacrificed years with my boyfriend for this story.  I've cried endless tears for the victims.  I got a criminal record for this story.  I lost a brother in law for this story.  I got HIV and lived through this disease for this story.  I became a police informant for this story.  I am writing you now to keep this story told by myself and my friends.  We earned it.  We lived it.  We all know what it is about and what it will mean to the world and the LGBTQ community.

I know that if someone took Shrek away from Jeffrey, he would never have gotten over it...so do all of you!

This crime is essentially solved...there is investigation to go, but there is a fight to keep me out of the resolution without any consideration to what I've brought to the families of the victims.  It would be a shame to have fought this hard for the entire game to have someone else score the winning touchdown.  Even Klay Thompson will tell you that one!  So will Jordan Farmar and many others.

I've had the hardest 8 weeks of my life the last two months and there isn't anyone here for me to talk to about what is going on with this investigation or with Christopher.  The torture has been relentless and painful.  I can't remember any time in the past 30 years where it was worse than it is right now.  My own team is playing with me as much as Laurie is...it's almost unbearable.  Nobody knows what I feel like inside lately.  It's an uncomfortable "waiting for the shoe to drop" feeling...that never goes away.
