Without getting into any kind of great detail, the luring of Kevin to Palm Springs for a reunion that I could give less than a shit about, has begun. Today I receive a certain text message from "a friend" that wasn't from "that friend", key pieces of that conversation led me to know that it wasn't whom the number showed it was from. I won't say whom or what was said, but I will say this. It is a conversation that this person and I have had many many times, but this time, it had some details wrong...and this person NEVER gets that detail wrong.
The LURE TEXT was about attending the first night of my high school reunion in Palm Springs, which I will never attend. I've already experienced the ambush of the ten year reunion and avoided the twenty year reunion like the plague. I don't have any need to see people that Laurie has already poisoned against me and I have much better things to do with my boyfriend, Christopher.
I'm not interested in attending anything that Laurie is setting up, but I am going to caution her from attending anything where a warrant for her arrest could be served for several different crimes. Nothing would make me happier than a cop coming in and arresting her saying, "Laurie LaTuna, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Kevin Bond in San Diego"...right in front of all of the people that she is there to try to impress with her meth body.
Did anyone lose a one piece bathing suit? Laurie's planning on attending the pool party the night before the dance. I won't be in attendance. I won't be accepting any calls from anyone. I don't like putting people that I like in her path. Thanks but no thanks.
The next 11 days will be filled with classmates that I don't want to see calling my family and telling them to get ahold of me. Then the pressure will be on to go, but this time, I'm just not up for anything that would put these people in Laurie's line of fire. I'm not particularly interested in seeing anyone and I love Christopher so much that I'll probably spend the time working on this project with him.
