A City Council that doesn't care, a City Manager that doesn't care, a gay mayor that doesn't care and a police department that has all the power. You can be gay bashed in your own home. The police don't give a shit about you. Nobody in the city government gives a damn...you might as well spend your money somewhere that the police can't arrest you for walking down the street.
I suggest San Diego. The gays there are friendly and when one of their own gets gay bashed, their friends come to their aid. In Palm Springs, your friends run away and hide.
