Why Toxicology Will Make Our Police Department Look Inept!

There is one thing that has always bothered me about the way my rape investigation was handled...actually there are many things that bother me, but a few are scientifically undisputable.

First there was the whole way that my interview was conducted.  I want you all to know that the entire interview was conducted while I was wearing a wire so that you all know that I can verify the entire conversation...through several sources that were monitoring the entire event.  The police were called after a month of going to the hospital for my skull that felt like it was broken in pieces...and after about a month of Laurie and Brian harassing me not to do so...then about four officers showed up at my door.

There was a female cop, two male cops and Officer Kelly Fieux.  Rather than sit me down where I was comfortable so that we could talk...I showed them my bloody clothing that I'd kept in a paper bag since the rape...and Officer Fieux had the other officers "checking my apartment" as if they were conducting a search.  The area  of my IKEA desk was where the concentrated.  I've never seen a sexual assault report ever given in front of four cops that were searching the apartment...and this seemed unusual.  Officer Fieux accused me of "harassing" one of the suspects...and he proceeded to bump me and act like I was at fault.  He certainly acted like he didn't believe me when I told him I was raped inside of Steven Frey's home where there was GHB which could have been used to knock me out.

I also told him that Steven was a drug dealer...but he seemed non-plussed.

Once the clothing was submitted to him...he didn't look at the clothes which I kept in a brown grocery bag for evidence.

The interview is something that I've talked about before...it was abrasive, totally unprofessional and aggressive.  I didn't expect this to happen and was in pain still from my head injuries.  I also told officer Fieux that there was a bloody Coke bottle left at the scene.

The fact that the police wouldn't let me talk to a prosecutor or talk to any counselor is beyond my understanding.  They offered no help at all.  I was treated as thought I'd committed a crime by telling them at all.  Then came detective Browning.  He told me that he wouldn't do a thing with the case until DNA results came back as if the entire case rested on DNA.  I've explained this before...I said that I'd been assaulted with a Coke bottle.  To my knowledge Coke doesn't have DNA...but that didn't matter to the police.

I've also gone on record as saying that I had no memory of the event.  I was completely knocked out with a substance of some kind.  Herein lies the problem for the police and Laurie.  It took nearly three years to get the results from the police, though I've been told I was correct about the rape from the beginning....from Bryan Reyes.   I've heard that there were early reports that there were other people's DNA on the clothing but the final analysis that was given to me over the phone was that all the DNA on the clothing was mine.  Okay...if that is the case, then the DNA on the clothing should yield other things like what I was knocked out with when the rape occurred.  Toxicology should show the substance since there was absolutely no memory of the event.  I know that there is something in my blood that knocked me out that I did not take.  A date rape drug of some kind that pictures would show that I have my eyes open while it is happening, but I have no memory of it.  See the "Perspectives" postcard of my face being punched out for proof.  I did not pose for that picture, but it is me...I look awake, but I have no memory of the event.  It must have taken place during that rape.

I can also tell you that I wasn't using drugs at the time....no meth, no GHB, nothing...in fact I was staying sober...so there is a major problem for the lab report quoted to me over the phone by Lt. Reyes.  If all the DNA is mine, then what did the toxicology say?  I've reported that I was knocked out to Lt. Reyes and Det. Browning so are the police saying they didn't look for that?  It is ridiculous that they didn't even go to the crime scene.

This whole event was in favor of whomever was telling them that I was lying...we can assume it was Laurie.  I don't even like anal sex...so bleeding from my ass is out of the realm of possibilities...it's just hideous what they did to me.

People wonder all the time why I get so touchy about all the time that my team is taking to do this investigation...it's because stupid decisions are made by a lot of people when these kinds of important pieces of evidence are overlooked.  They end up with some kind of unbelievable story that might sound good for a soap opera, but would never and will never look decent in a courtroom.  There isn't any jury in the world that is going to believe that an entire department wouldn't do the kinds of things that they do for women that they did to me.  It just isn't right.  The time that it has taken to investigate this crime has only allowed an obsessive sociopath even more time to try to accomplish her goal of killing me...than she would ever have had before.  It's just like waiting to be killed.

The other thing is this...the bloody clothing that I've submitted to the police department is MINE.  No matter what they have to say about it, it has to be returned to me upon my request.  It now has to include ONLY MY DNA...the blood on the jeans has to be all mine...and it has to have HEP C virus in it...if it doesn't then the rape will look like they lied about it.  I have given my attorneys permission to request these jeans to be tested by an independent lab and for ALL COPIES of lab reports to be submitted to them.  Destruction or tampering with this bloody clothing in any way will result in a huge law suit for the PSPD.

Furthermore, with one woman posing as a La Quinta employee claiming that Sgt. Bryan Anderson is her former boyfriend of "four years" and with that same woman being a lead suspect in this case...the longer those bloody clothes go un retested, the more incriminating this case looks to everyone else.   The two suspects that we have in this sexual assault have ties to Sgt. Anderson...and now that he is in charge of the Crimes Against Persons unit...it would look suspicious as to how he handles this case.
