A Red Herring:
something, especially a clue, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting.
When I write this blog every day, one of the things that I am always the most conscious of is what will Laurie do with this information? I have learned what sets her off, what makes her talk and what makes her act. I purposefully do not "lace" this blog with Red Herrings...I want to be clear and concise. Honest and truthful. Helpful and of service to you, the parents of the victims of this crime.
Police, family members of Laurie and Brian, and readers that have contact with her need to be aware of HER RED HERRINGS, which she commonly puts off as "that's beside the point" instead of "that's the whole point".
No matter what you do, understand that you have the power to question my motivation and hers. I stand nothing to gain by writing this blog...even Laurie will tell you that nobody reads it and that DreamWorks isn't even aware...but is that a Red Herring? Look at the facts, look at what I do for free...and remember that I want nothing to do with this woman...I simply promised my boyfriend's mom that I would do everything I could to protect him. This is my best effort.
