For that matter does it look like a Happy 40th Birthday?
What if I told you that the guy in the picture above was a priest? A rape victim? A victim of an intentional infection? A victim of police misconduct and that he never even committed a crime? What if I told you that the people responsible for committing all the above crimes against him are sitting somewhere laughing because they lied an put him in jail?
How many gay men have been thrown in jail because they were gay and Laurie and Brian LaAssholes didn't like them? How long do you all think that this should continue without them knowing what this man is feeling for themselves?
This Independence Day I want you all to understand that THIS IS THE AMERICA THAT 300 GAY MEN AND WOMEN LIVE IN WHEN THEY ARE ELECTRONICALLY HARASSED IN PALM SPRINGS! I know it is hard to believe, but the facts are there. The woman responsible for this crime has been identified, but she still hasn't had the experience of sitting in a jail cell with her parents knowing what ours didn't.
This blog is dedicated to everyone whom ever sat in a Palm Springs Police Department jail cell and had to listen to Laurie and Brian partying two blocks away and humiliating you while you tried to figure out, "How did this happen", again???
This is for the parents that were at home thinking, "My kid hasn't ever been in trouble in his whole life. What is going on out there?" The last time I sat in a jail cell on my 40th Birthday, I vowed to find a way to send these criminals to a jail cell that they will never get out of. Help me make this a reality for all of us that cried while they partied. For every thought that we had about, "How am I going to explain this to my mom?", I want Laurie and Brian to be every bit as humiliated as we were...but this time, for all the right reasons.
