People are so fucking gullible.   Using microchips to gain access to VIP club status, is that what Verichip is trying to sell to the public now???  Crazy how stupid some people can be with their own privacy.  I guess you can compare our implanted officers with dumb blonde girls hoping to sit next to Justin Bieber in a nightclub that will be selling that information to the first terrorist that offers them money.
The dangers of microchipping volunteers for this kind of harassment is a joke.  Nobody knows the tremendous terror capabilities of these chips like my friends do or they would think twice before volunteering their privacy up like a VIP card at a bar.
Verichip and other manufacturers need explain one thing to the public...why did you include cell phone technology in these chips if they were only meant to be scanned for a free drink?  The reason that this was included was for spying on people, there is no other reason for this to happen and are the volunteers made aware that this can be done?  Of course they aren't...that would take all the fun out of it.  You can only truly volunteer for something when you are told about ALL of the aspects of the technology, when you leave out the cellular capabilities you've given uninformed consent...and that's not legal.
It should be said again that none of the gay men in Palm Springs or women ever gave any consent for this to be done to them...it was forced into their bodies during a crime.   That's a rape.
