I want you all to know that this isn't the beginning of "the pox" it is the second dose of the vaccine.... please excuse the chicken skin, my office was freezing!!! LOL.
Every one of Lori's victims needs to make sure that you are getting this vaccine before the virus gets you. From what I've seen, it is definitely lots better than going it alone against this new disease that has entered into our community. The shots take about four weeks. You get one, wait a month, then get another one. Right now the County of Riverside is offering shots for free. You just need to call DAP or the County of Riverside and make your appointment.
The shots are like taking a TB test. They go under the skin and give you the shot there. It is painless and is good at lessening the severity of the Monkeypox virus. If you are unlucky enough to have been exposed, remember that you are contagious. Please think of others and don't intentionally spread disease, like Lori. Lori thinks of STD's like a game of Pokeman....she likes to collect em all!!!
