A Poet's View Of The World? This Is What I Know

One thing I know for certain, and you, my reader, do as well.  I am no poet.  I struggle for words that I need to have to describe the things that go into this crime.  I guess crime isn't all that poetic anyway.  It's about the facts, not about the heart.  When a poet sees the world they have a way of putting into words the feelings that they feel.  True crime is more about letting you all know the facts and what this is like in as real time as I can do it without being hooked to a computer that reads my mind, in my possession.

What I know is that I know a very dangerous person.  She's violent and she isn't really very good at controlling her anger.  She's put a lot of people in fear for their freedom and for their lives.  She knows how to manipulate certain people to do things for her that they wouldn't normally do.  She's tried many times to kill people.  She has caused serious bodily injuries since she was in high school.  Her desire to continue is high, but her ability to do so isn't.

I know that if she isn't put into a care facility she will get more violent and worse, she may impact the lives of even more innocent adults and children.  I am one of the first families, though not the only family, that has seen both impact, longevity, and a worsening of her violent needs.  She's not getting better at the crime, she's getting less cautious and sloppy.  This usually precludes getting caught.  For that I am really happy.  What I am not good with is that she is still "at large" when she should already be safely in custody awaiting her day in court.  She's not "fake" dangerous, she's REAL dangerous.

As the situation becomes more and more desperate, she will get more and more concerned with things that don't matter to anyone but her.  "Her Big Finale" or "The Final Showdown" are things that she believes with afford her a place in the Evil Person Hall of Fame.  She obviously doesn't know that her place is safe and secure with what she has already done.  She doesn't need a curtain call or an ovation, she needs a jail cell, medical attention, and psychological support.  Lori Jean LaFond has never been a stable person....now the ground beneath her is starting to shake for real.  Be prepared to have her arrested at a moment's notice.  She's likely to go off and explode in anger.

Just wanted you to know what a true crime author does about his lifelong stalker.  She's not typical in many ways, but is in some.  She wants notoriety and fame, but she knows that only comes with incarceration and prosecution.

She's not well.
