Lori, of course, is going crazy because of the lesbian aspect.  Shallow doesn't describe how annoyingly stupid Lori Lafond is on the microphone.  It's like throwing a dog a bone.  "Look Lori, there's a lesbian", then Lori chases after her like a game of fetch!  Grow up little girl.
In the meantime, this song is haunting and beautiful.
