Whether you believe that Jesus was the Son of God or not, historically we know that he went through a worse week than most of you are having. His intention was to die for YOUR sins and whether you believe that he did, in fact, accomplish that, he believed he did. That's what faith is all about. Believing in something greater than yourself that you can't see or touch but you feel. I just wanted to remind all of you that there really isn't a religious leader that didn't suffer on some level because of their faith. Everyone has their moment and their test to pass. Do you believe beyond the physical world or not?
Today is a big religious day for Christians and the Jewish community, but every single one of you knows that there are things that are microscopic that can't be seen that can have a huge impact on your lives. If you can't see it, then how can you be sure it's there? Is it because others died to warn you? Probably so. We need to ensure that the sacrifices of man are not limited to what we can see or touch because that is the world we live in. Having faith is the same thing. It's there, but you can't always quantify it. I hope that in this time of greatest need you realize that people are still dying to save your life.
That reminds me of a guy that had a much tougher week than most of us did thousands of years ago.
