Most people assume that if a person is a targeted individual, with everything happening that the target says, that this is a problem that they are glad they don't have. That's a really narrow way of understanding that this problem, outside of the HIV infection, is actually affecting all of the people we know, and their families.
I can guarantee you that growing up, Lori had never heard of Jeffrey Katzenberg. Over time, she learned of him from various sources in the Palm Springs area. From cops to employees, to their own family's neighbors, Lori aimed to cause the same or similar problems to Jeffrey and Marilyn the way she usually does, through the gay younger brother. There's a lot of psycho-sexual-socio relationships that go into Lori's thieving ways. In some ways, you can see that she follows the same pattern that she took her family through. My experience with Lori was one of the first times she attempted to manufacture a family that she could live off of.
Over the years, I've seen her make many attempts to ruin families so that she could insert herself. Sometimes it is simply to get close to a neighbor, sometimes it is to give her some kind of sexual opportunity with a family member. All this ever tells me is that Lori has already used all of the brothers, sisters, moms, dads, and relatives in her own family. "She hates them"...she'll even tell you that.
Now Lori believes that she can actually find a "substitute family" to rob, disease, put in harm's way...and...destroy. My own family has a ton of damage from this monster, but she's almost reached a point where it will take Lori down. She's a difficult person to stop when her friends get involved, but she isn't impossible. I don't want any family to feel like I do. I was supposed to further the life of my family...smart, educated, well supported, and driven...yet when Lori got involved she ruined lots more dreams than my own.
I don't want another family to feel the stall that we have. I don't want Lori to get involved ever again.
