I was watching this morning when Ms. Maxine Waters stood with her contemporaries to file Articles of Impeachment of Donald Trump. I usually stay out of this, but America is really important to me and my boyfriend. This is one of my most favorite women in politics and to see her solemn stare at this procedure shows the disappointment that people like Colin Kaepernick and Megan Rapinoe show for the current state of affairs of our country with regards to equality, women, black people, and LGBTQ issues. What starts off as election tampering ends up with laws that keep minorities from achieving equality at home. We can do better...and this is a start!
