You know when it comes to brains, Lori thought God said hypodermic needles, so she took as many as she could get. Then God realized that Lori thought brains were hypodermic needles...and granted her request in the other direction. Ever since, those needles have proven that Lori doesn't have a brain in her head. The most important evidence of Lori's ineptitude is the strange case of Jonathan Mendenhall's death, that Lori moved to Cadillac, Michigan and posted it in the newspapers.
What the Hell was she thinking? Simple. I think she believed that she could fake his death and threaten his family all at the same time asking for ransom money via the newspapers and this blog. I simply posted the evidence and let his family know that I wasn't buying it. They were also implicated in the fraudulent death in the newspapers and in the death notice that I received via email and a follow up that I got from Arizona in the U.S. Mail. What in the fuck was Lori trying to do? Show control...but what it showed me was the opposite. Here you have a girl stalking me and my friends with a restraining order against me, then she is trying to cover her tracks with a fake death, fake abduction, and a passive-aggressive fake death notice. Didn't Lori realize that his own family wouldn't think any of it was true? It couldn't be, he's alive.
Lori probably thought she could forward all family phone numbers so that she could keep Jonathan from talking to his family and friends, but that couldn't have worked either. There are like a million Mendenhall's in that family, she couldn't possibly know them all.
Toss in that Jonathan's father is the son of a Long Beach area Police Chief...and you have a drug dealer that thinks she is some kind of master criminal taking on a long line of police family members...it's like trying to get Bryan Anderson in trouble when he's the head of the crime's against people captain. Is she this bold or just stupid?
At any rate choosing to move this crime to Michigan was not a good idea. Since that's where she said he died (at his sister's home), a medical doctor, the crime scene moves there. Placing an obituary in the newspaper was publishing a threat and this falls under Michigan Anti-electronic Harassment Laws. Bad choice since Jonathan was once Lori's "number three in charge" (Steven Frey knows that), and knows all about Lori's stolen military computers.
Such a sad day for the LaFond Family of Brian and Lori LaFond. The rest of Lori's family is probably elated that someone has finally called Lori on her bullshit criminal lifestyle. The Michigan Law is crystal clear too. Wanna see it?
