Most people think that we are at the forefront of brand new technology with brain-computer interfacing. They see Elon Musk, a personal favorite of mine, and they think he's creating a neuralink that will change society, but what I'm telling you is that we are way past that point and have entered into the era of crimes created by crisscrossing tech and human minds.
Read this Newsweek article and learn that there are ethical issues with the combination of humans with computers. Perhaps the best thing that my friends and I can do is illustrate to people what these concerns are so that we may move forward without falling off a cliff.
You've seen the damage already in cases like Myron May, Aaron Alexis, and Gavin Long. What people see is "mass shooting by a crazy gunman", but what they were telling you before these incidents was that someone was harassing them, pushing them towards an event. We've seen it several times in Palm Springs so far. The Big 5 shooting and the Palm Springs Airport tarmac shooting are two very good examples of someone pushing a person to the limit of their own sanity. The criminals that pushed these men or police officers, are still on the microphone and telling these gay men what to do or they are watching them stockpile weapons for these crimes and they aren't calling the police to stop them. Innocent people and law enforcement officers lost their lives because these criminals push and prod a victim to the point of helplessness...it's a state of mind thing.
What I do is move beyond whether this tech exists, to what is being done illegally with it. How to stop it. How to identify the victims. How to keep the criminals from running the asylum.
Lori is far too hands-on with the victims that she has created over the years. That I found a pattern and know what it all means isn't a reason for her to be upset with me, it's a reason for her to be upset with herself for not reading the data she has on me better. She knows where I was working and what I was doing. If she thought I was just going to let her rape me and my friends for the rest of our lives, she is mistaken or she's lying to you all. I am THE FRIEND that sticks up for my friends. I am THE FRIEND that cries foul when the situation has smelled so bad for so long.
I'm not impressed with Lori's understanding of the law. I'm the first person to tell all of you that neither she nor the Chief of Police is above it. So don't despair, there are much better people to protect the victims and their families...we don't need the PSPD to arrest us into silence ever again.
