Think of the train as Lori LaFond's life and you are either inside the train or you are outside watching it. I know that I'm not inside the Lori train, I jumped out of that sucker just before she started crossing the bridge. Thank God, but there are others still trapped inside that are looking out the window and foreseeing the domino effect of her life starting to take shape.
When you think of all the compartments on the train that Lori uses to travel to her disaster, you can clearly see that there is a car for almost every family that doesn't know it's Lori, the Palm Springs Police Department has a car, the Katzenberg's have a car, the Mendenhall's have a car, the Erickson's have a car, Tracy and Joe have a car...and so on and so forth. The problem is that there are still a lot of passengers on that train that could be evacuated with the right amount of information. My intention was to get everyone off that train BEFORE it got on the bridge.
It's been successful in some areas and yet there are still more disbelievers that haven't had the opportunity to look out the window to see what is coming. They are in the middle seats or on the other side of the train looking out the window that doesn't show anything. There was a point at which the entire LGBTQ community was on this loco-motive, but now I've managed to advise a lot of people about what electronic harassment is. You don't want this train to go into the dark tunnel either...you know what happens in the dark.
So as long as Lori's big mouth and disease coupled with mind-reading and deception, there will be more victims than there should be. We all think that we could be a hero in a time of the disaster, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to point out the inevitable all alone. People turn a blind eye to what is coming and some just simply can't play this train movie ahead far enough to see the disaster. I've been on this train many times when it crashed with me and my family underneath it. Some of us survived and some didn't. This time the whole train is going to crash and it's important to know where everyone is and how to get them off before it falls.
The problem has become evident for lots of people. The Missy Erickson car served free cheesecake, all you can eat, but the blinds have to be kept closed at all times. Lots of people went for the cheesecake...too many. You don't know what was in that cheesecake and then David started his comic show trying to create a diversion, but now, there's a strange rattling sound and everyone wants to look out the windows to see what's happening.
David, Missy, Bessie, Christian, Leah, and Jeffrey all could have gotten their families to safety, but they just kept dining on all that cheesecake. Nobody ever thought that something so sickeningly sweet could cause such a large disaster. Missy's role, put as many passengers on that train as possible to keep the secret, but most of us know that once it starts to tip, no matter how much cheesecake there is left, it's all gonna fall.
