As Lori LaFond well knows, I don't consider what I do for this community as a competition. It's the classic "good vs. evil" concept that makes it seem this way. The bottom line is that someone beat my skull in and shot at me and I want to know who and why? It's a struggle just to get law enforcement to understand why this is important to me. First, I am a human being. Someone came into a locked home while I was asleep and did something horrible. This has happened to a lot of my friends, including Christopher, and I simply can't look away from it. If I could, someone else could be hurt.
I needed someone to look at the injuries and the lab reports and do something that is well within the description of the law. I know what it feels like to be ignored. Heck, I didn't even get to have the "he said, she said" case. The police acted like they did so much for me and they couldn't do anymore...I'm like, "What? You didn't do anything for me and you want to do less?
Nobody should live their life allowing someone else to diminish their importance. Everyone has a gift somewhere. I just want to let people know that I'm another person that complained and I let the police know Lori did this. You all know that there are others...this is to support all of them too.
The question about who would you rather have behind you on the edge of a cliff is an interesting one. I don't know of anyone that thinks Lori or her friends are trustworthy. I'm the person that keeps her from pushing you, she's the person dying to push someone else around.
