"Consensual Telepathy" and Elon Musk: We've Already Gone There, It's Frought With Danger

If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of tech, which is why I'm kind of a hypocrite when it comes to brain-computer interfaces.  If you are a techie, you absolutely love the advancements that this man above comes up with.  They tend to be more environmental and much safer than other examples.  This, everyone, is Elon Musk, and however, you feel about what he does, he is at the forefront of the human experiment as it pertains to life hacks and technology.

This week Mr. Musk and Neuralink unveiled a plan to insert a microprocessor into the human brain...or rather, on to the brain and into the brain.  Coupling a brain-computer interface that will allow human beings to process information much faster.  Or at least that's what they think it will do.

If there is anyone out therer that knows Elon, I wish someone would tell him that I'd like to meet him and have a real talk about introducing this kind of tech into the mind of a human being.  As someone that has already guinea pigged this kind of tech, against my will, I want him to know about my experience with this kind of technology.  What is good and what is bad about it.  There is no possible way that he doesn't know that this already exists, but he should know about the pitfalls of what he is getting ready to do.

I absolutely like this man, but I want you all to know that I, too, have my limits when it comes to computers, AI, and learning from our mistakes.  I've already met the worst of human beings and lived the worst-case scenarios with an interface rapist.  Mr. Musk needs to consider what else could happen by putting a computer into the brain of consensual telepaths...it isn't just "hooking up to the internet" that needs to be learned.  How long would it be before the AI develops an AIDS-like virus out of other viruses that a human being comes into contact with?  Think about it.  If a computer attached to your brain can learn about you, how long will it be before it understands how the AIDS virus works and helps the body to create an AIDS virus that can't be stopped.  Certainly, this tech is supposed to help mankind, but what my experience is that people in dark places to dark things.  We already have computer viruses that can attack because of programming and intelligence...this experiment needs more idiot-proofing.  I want to talk with Elon Musk.

I think that he may be entering an area with good intentions but without all of the intel, he needs.  I know what the worst-case-scenario is because I live with it everyday.  Mr. Musk is outstanding in the areas that he's embarked upon so far...Tesla is highly successful and so are the transit systems that he is building...but in this area, we may be over stepping our bounds.
