This is a shocking movie that makes me very angry with Lori. I definitely know what this is about and I firmly accept my role in this crime, but it still does not compare to the feelings I have for what Lori did with my addiction concerning my family. I am sober and am very glad that this movie shows what we go through as addicts.
When you see the pain that Julia goes through in this movie, I remember the damage that I caused but then I think of the unnecessary addition of Lori's lies. The pain that I caused I've done my best to fix, but I still have to hear Lori's drug addiction in full swing. There is only the future to be concerned about because the past can't be changed. What can be changed is the correction of the circumstances that kept my addiction going. I couldn't even be sober without Lori saying otherwise. This is another reason why I think this movie reminds me of the pain Lori and her friends caused my sister and family.
I'm not going to use drugs but Lori is...I know the difference between us.
