Lori can steal money, put men in prison, lie about just about anything that comes up, but the one thing she can't compete with is the love that we have for the mothers that love us! We have so much to be thankful for when you learn about all the women that make us great men. The Mendenhall's, Monti's, Bond's, Dabiere's, Katzenberg's, Martin's, and the extended families that we have through our friendships make us work harder than Lori's drugs can keep her awake!!!
Tonight we saw what friendship and commitment can do for a team like our Golden State Warriors...it serves as an inspiration for all of us on this team. Even the guys that didn't like basketball before are in awe of the kind of accomplishments that a team of misfits can be if they use their talents as a team. Sometimes you just have to put in the work and the best things can happen.
Our moms have been put through something that not many moms have heard of, but they are starting to understand that we know we can do this job if we continue to have the love and support of our families. Our immediate families know what this has been like for us now and our extended families keep us motivated.
When you are a mother, you are a mother to more than just your kid, you are a mother for the world. There isn't a more grateful group of gentlemen (and ladies) than our team. We may not play a sport, but we are in the same kind of battle every day without any days off. It's our love for them and their happiness that keeps us going.
