I use to have parties with friends for my birthday. When I was in San Diego, we would all get together and have fun. For the last ten or so years, my birthdays have been celebrated with Google and Bing...and that's just about it. From 40 years old to 51 years old, I've been 100% alone. Nobody. I don't have a gay friend to save my life and that's how you know that Lori LaFond and her girlfriends have been hard at work on my life.
I'm not anti-social by nature, but this is a man-made isolation that I have. It's what happens when you live where you don't want to, do what you don't want to and feel like you shouldn't have to because one police officer decided that his life was far more important than mine. Chief Reyes, this middle finger is for you.
I remember my 40th birthday...Lori put me in jail for 4 or 5 days for absolutely nothing. Not one single reason was ever given. The cops said, "drugs", but there wasn't a single bit of proof that I was on them or had any on me. Lori knew that too since she had someone steal them from me and take a swing at my face. It was the time when all of my friends were having their 40th birthday parties and I was locked up in the Palm Springs jail...for nothing. Not one single charge was presented. I spent four or five days in jail because of that but before I was transported from P.S. to Indio jail, the police had their fun with me by putting a spit hood over the HIV suspect's face and standing me, in humiliation, in front of the whole office.
Nobody has ever apologized. What I know is that Lori was telling POLICE OFFICERS to "punch him in the face". Now if you think that Google and Bing are a sad representation of well wishers, you should feel how it feels to have an entire office of police officers shaming you because you have HIV.
So yeah, it's my birthday. You can't imagine what it is like for me after ten full years of not seeing or talking to anyone I know. It's like being in prison.
The second half of what these girls do is shove us in front of Lori, but when there is a chance of Lori getting in trouble, they put themselves before all of the men that Lori has hated into a jail cell. It's "girls first" when it is beneficial to them. This has caused extra years of heartache and pain for everyone. I'm not alone in this, but when it is a day like today, Lori does everything she can to ruin it. It's year after year, birthday after birthday, Christmas after Christmas and everyone else, with a few exceptions, has managed to get away from Lori LaFond. Now only I am left for her to fuck with.
This is shaping up to be another lousy summer.
