I'll Fly For You: Enjoy This Concert On Me: Spandau Ballet's Reformation Tour From 2009

Back when I was in high school, I had to be extremely careful about where I went and who was there.  Lori had begun her lifelong obsession with me and trying to have people hurt me for her.  It was a daily struggle that I didn't talk about with anyone, but they all knew.  I hated living where I grew up and now I'm forced to live here forever.  It was horrible to have someone forcing this to happen and knowing the whole time that my own sister was contacted behind my back to do something awful.

I use to go to record stores when I could get away and I always looked for Spandau Ballet, a band I saw in a video from a satellite television that a friend had.  The song wasn't "True" it was "Lifeline" and I was instantly smitten by the new romantic level of love and compassion in their songs.  I won't lie, I thought the saxophone player, Steve Norman, was adorable.  He still is.  Man can he blow sax.

I escaped into music and spent most of my time alone listening to this band and loving their lyrics.  So in 2009, they got back together for the Reformation Tour and this is a great concert.  Tony, the Kemp brothers...it's just great music.

I hope someone out there will listen and enjoy this music for me.  My job is done.  What is to come isn't good.  When I'm gone, remember, "I'll Fly For You".  A guardian angel for life.  My boys...I admire you.

Thanks,
Kevin
