There is part of Lori's obsession that I have always thought of as a back handed compliment. It's no secret that I have terrific friends that are so genuine that other people gravitate towards them. I can go on and on about the quality of character and intelligence that all of my friends share. Make no mistake about it, I've gathered a group of friends that is far and away smarter than anyone that Lori LaFond could ever put together. It starts with my childhood friendships and goes all the way through to meeting Christopher. Don't get me wrong, we've all been fooled by Lori at one time or another, the way that a predator ambushes her prey...but the adjustments are what intelligent people are about. Anyone could ambush someone, but only a truly intelligent person learns how it was done and devises a way to avoid that from happening again.
One of, if not the, smartest of the smartest is Jonathan Mendenhall. Most people around Palm Springs knew Jonathan to be someone that loves politics and German...well everything German. Jonathan speaks fluid German and so does Christopher. Both are college graduates (congratulations Christopher) but when you, too, are educated, you learn the truly smart ones from the kids that went to college and got a degree. I've been very fortunate to know men and women that are wiser than their degrees. That's been one of my favorite things; the intelligence of my friends.
Yes, I get frustrated with them, after all, they are friends. Then I realize that it is my expertise in the area of crime and punishment that is my strength. It makes sense that I take the lead in this case because I know Lori LaFond and what she has done in the past to others, but also because law is my area of greatest proficiency. I've already told you all that my interest in the law came from my early exposure to justice because of my father's case. We know we can attribute that to Lori's meddling. In a way, my job on this Earth has always been to seek justice for those people that Lori hurt. I spent time learning the law, drafting the law, filing the law and working with federal judges that enforced the law. In some way I honestly believe that God was getting me ready for this fight. Let's face it, we needed a champion...and we needed that person to know more than others in this area. It had to happen.
I'm no lawyer, but I've worked with hundreds over the years and I learned a valuable lesson...I'm just as smart as most of the attorneys that I am friendly with. My ability to communicate with them and foresee the problems in the criminal cases that I managed gave me the ability to plan this investigation. The good ones are always well planned with the least amount of danger to the public. This is a unique crime in its entirety, but broken down into pieces, it's no different than any other crime. There is a victim, then there is a criminal. It's simple really. It's a matter of who you believe and what we can prove. We don't live in a horse and buggy world anymore. 2 year olds can work smartphones. Our eyes are open but we aren't processing all of the changes that have really taken place. Is the public's safety better served by not knowing the truth? How could that ever be?
The "what we can prove" part lies heavily on the shoulders of Anthony, Barbara, but mostly, Jonathan. That's why Lori made him look dead online with obituaries posted in newspapers in Michigan and Arizona. The author of those obituaries knew that Jonathan possessed something destructive to this system, so she sent a warning. Jonathan spent so much time enslaved at Lori and Brian's residences that he was almost never home any more. I should know, I've known Jonathan for thirty or so years. He was ALWAYS at home when I would stop by. The last few years, I would stop at Jonathan's every time I would go to Palm Springs. It was the place where I felt the safest, which I think is odd now because it wasn't the safest place for Anthony, Jonathan or myself. The three of us together is powerful stuff. I think Christopher felt safe there too. I know that Jonathan likes him and that the two connected on an intelligence level that both felt good about.
There was a door to Jonathan's room that was literally punched with holes or a saw so that Lori and Brian could spy on Jonathan. I photographed those for you all. Behind the door was some kind of gaping hole in the wall too. I don't really know how other people felt about it, but I thought it looked ominous, threatening and almost violent. I've been in that condo for thirty years, I've never seen that place with something like that. I knew that Jonathan wanted Lori and Brian out of his home and it reminded me of Steven Frey.
Steven, while living a block from Lori, Brian and the police department had to build an inner wall inside of his garage to keep Lori and Brian from entering, stealing and raping him too. I should know. I helped him build the wall, knock out the bricks and install the door. I also put a night vision camera outside with a mini television that I gave to Steve to use. He was clearly trying to keep someone out. Lori will lie and say that someone is me, but she knows that I wasn't raping Steven...we had a platonic relationship that wasn't based on sex. No, he was keeping Lori and Brian from sexually assaulting him and he knew that the police weren't going to come to his rescue, just like they didn't come to mine.
Steven has been knocked unconscious so many times that he knew what I know...you must prepare for the inevitable when Lori lives near you. She's obsessive, compulsive and violent. If she thinks she has a "man" unconscious and she's nearby, she gets some kind of sexual charge out of beating him senseless while he sleeps. For a rapist, there are a range of emotions and feelings about this kind of crime. Most say that rape is about control, but control can be sexual...and for Lori it is everything. So a rapist is thinking sex thoughts about rape, but Lori is even worse. Some people will say, she can't be any worse than rapists that kill because you are still alive, but they forget that the first time she raped me it was with a needle full of AIDS virus. She's a different kind of killer, she wants to watch you suffer. She's the evil villain with the hour long speech standing over the victim before she kills him...if you think about it. Implanting a victim with a tracking microphone that transfers their EEG's to a database that deciphers them is her way of keeping an eye on the people that will eventually die from her AIDS virus. So while some rapists kill immediately, Lori likes a slow agonizing kill...the kind that terrorists like. Like the fifteen minute speeches given by the Taliban before they behead someone. The difference is that Lori stretches it out over years and years. Who does that?
I can't find a single case of a rapist that tracked her victims for thirty years. It's not like she didn't try to kill me...there was a shooting and a severe gay bashing, but even that is all about, "What did it feel like," for Lori. She asks that question. She wants to know, "How did it feel to be raped by a woman?" "Did it hurt," she questions? I don't know about the rest of you but before the police fucked it up, I already knew that she'd gotten away with this many times before. You could tell. It was too easy for her. The game to easily played without interruption. I won't say it was slick, I would say it was juvenile. Lori's understanding of the law is childlike. That didn't matter however since she'd learned from spying of the police how to manipulate police officers and the justice system. You see the police don't understand that she isn't helping them, she's observing them, just like the homosexuals. She isn't trying to be a "concerned citizen", concerned citizens would worry more about someone raping and mind reading innocent people more than arresting homosexuals. Concerned citizens are who Lori preys on.
I'm a concerned citizen. Soon I would learn that there were others too. Most people that read this blog don't know that Jonathan was politically minded about changing this crime. That's smart. I think law and he thinks politic. Those are the two places where change happens first. Our friends call us Holmes and Watson because we think about this crime much differently. Jonathan ran for City Council of Palm Springs in an effort to help the gay community deal with this problem of electronic harassment. If you can't work with the police, the next step would be the people that are in charge of the police...in Palm Springs, those are the five members of the City Council. Change from above, change from the law...Jonathan and I were destined to do this.
Though Jonathan did not win his seat, he did gain valuable experience. It still doesn't change the way he will deal with this crime in the future. He may not run for office, but you can be certain whoever he supports, will know about what this is like and what can happen. Expect laws to change because of politics, then I take over with my experience. I know lawyers and I know judges. My experience is on the right level for prosecution...the federal court where civil rights violations are on their menu. I know some of the finest criminal attorneys in the country; defense and prosecution. I know federal judges and I know federal magistrates. My reputation with them is immaculate. If I can be represented before one of these judges, I know I will be heard.
Lori's biggest mistake probably was going after Jonathan. He's really smart when it comes to knowing what is and what is not important. He was there when Lori would pass out at the computer, high on GHB, wasted on meth and God only knows what kind of evidence he was able to procure during those times. I know he photographed Lori and Brian in Sedona, Arizona when they passed out on some kind of sex device. Lori had a policy of trying to get Jonathan to videotape people or get punished. With that in mind, he began rolling webcam video all the time. Not such a good idea when you are committing a terrorist act or sexually violating someone/yourself, if you want to look like an angel. That's something else I want to address. Jonathan and I are the first to admit that "we're no angels", but "angels" don't do the best informant work. It takes two or more college educated men to work inside/outside, but Barbara always kept us straight. She's the real brains of the outfit here...we learn and listen when she has advice. She can anticipate Lori better than anyone. So Barbara in her home, Jonathan enslaved at Lori and Brian's and me in the trenches with Christopher is how this really sparks.
My experience said that if police were involved becoming an informant for them would be the safest thing legally. Most people want some kind of benefit or reward for informant work. Maybe they are mad at their old drug dealer that won't sell to them anymore. In my case, it wasn't the drugs, it was the rape. I wanted answers, not a probation break. I didn't want there to be any cop that could ever say that I did this for some kind of shorter sentence on a criminal case. I could have, but that's not what this part was about. It was legal standing that I was looking for. If we can prove that the police are illegally involved in a crime of hate, then we can seek a higher court without all the trappings of the 30 year system of torture. That's why I did it the way I did it. It's a little like sleeping with the enemy, at first, especially for Christopher (I'm so sorry). I couldn't tell him everything about our move to do this or Lori would have caught on and the cops wouldn't have used us. We had to look like two homosexuals that Lori could fuck with, in order to sell it. Still I knew that Christopher and I would have better legal standing doing this for the People of the State of California than for the Palm Springs Police Department. Once we solidified how we could prove it, it was a matter of continuing to work.
Jonathan, in the meantime, was going through his own torturous problems with Lori who, let's face it, is not too happy with anyone that "jumps ship", especially my friend. At the time we left Sedona, Jonathan had enough. We had enough information and evidence with him as an eyewitness from the inside...he needed to get out. It is rumored that Lori and Brian put a loaded gun to his head in Arizona and took pictures. That's too far. Once you get what you need for a search warrant, get the fuck out and let the warrant do the work.
Interviewing on the inside and outside is now going on. We have three private investigators working on the case now. The DHS 8 have provided us with many people that we can interview and some key players in the situation. People that "Jessica" was once a "crew member" of will be coming forward...if they are out of prison yet. We've got parents, sisters, celebrities and so many people that want to let Lori know just how much they love her. Do you think one will? Hasn't happened in Lori's 51 year old life yet...sweet 51 and never been kissed! (It's a breath issue...and syphilis, and that face...ewww!)
My story is one thing...Jonathan's isn't much better. His experiences on the inside of Lori LaFond's torture factory, as a slave that the siblings called "Number Three in Charge" was also the person that Lori called mockingly, "Mr. Smarty Pants". I think that is a compliment to most...to Lori, it's just an insult to her lack of intelligence.
