"Because it happened," is what I have to say about why I would choose to write about something that I think is embarrassing and something that I will have to live with for the rest of my life. This didn't just happen once, it happened and twenty years later that same person raped me again. I think that what I have been through is way more intense than a lot of people have experienced simply because my rapist was able to keep tabs on me every single minute of the day. This gave her some kind of feeling of ownership over me and my life. I'm the guy that got raped by that girl.
Even worse, as I expected, it was the girl bully that did other things to me and my family over the years.
Then there is what most of us know is the problem with our police department, that not only told me, basically, "You didn't get raped," but that, "You don't matter." This is not the message that you want to send to someone that has been obsessed with you your whole life. Doing this for Lori was a huge mistake that I've been paying for since that police chief told me he couldn't do anything for me. He sure took his time doing it too. All I can say to that is that he's wrong. He's a liar. He did this to protect himself and he can't imagine what he's done to me since. This whole situation could have been avoided in my 40's, but it's lingered until my 50's now and I can't believe how little a man that gets raped and comes forward means to the PSPD.
So it is equally disturbing that after all of the things that I've been put through this girl gets to file restraining orders simply because I was told who it was that did this???? Crazy. How in the fuck does anyone get any justice in Palm Springs? This police department declared open season on gay men...if a gay man comes forward and tells them what happened he gets targeted for arrests. It's a no win situation.
The entire time this has been going on, I wouldn't reveal that I knew who did this until it got to the point where the police were notified and they showed me exactly how far they would go to keep themselves out of trouble. It was simply amazing. Then I found out how many people that this had happened to and I couldn't believe that any city could have this big of a problem with one person. You can't imagine how awful it is to know the things I do and to have so little control over how it gets investigated. This whole thing is a mess because the police fucked it up.
Any legal action by them or anyone else is punishing the victim and supporting the rapist. If Lori is a victim where are her broken skull MRI's and her bullet in the cardoor. This is ridiculous.
How long does a person have to wait when there is overwhelming evidence of stalking a police informant? It's overwhelming!!!
If anyone would take three seconds and read the first DNA report that the Chief showed me, you can clearly see that his explanation that I got a year later was completely a pussy move.
