At some point "in crazy", I think there is a moment for every sociopath that asks...if I do this I can't really claim that this was a "one time thing", I'm actually crossing over into insanity. Up until this point, Lori has been able to pull back and try to be decent for a moment, to get her story believed, but things have changed. The landscape moved for her while she was indoors for the last few years. Her crazy, looks crazy and she can't play it off like she was just "playing a character on the radio".
There's that moment for everyone that hears her. At some point her crazy sticks out and they all sit and wonder, "What'd she say?" "That bitch is crazy!" Then you know.
There really isn't any recovery from crazy and I had this same feeling about another serial killer once. I was right, ask my former boyfriend and you'll find out. I know creepy and Lori is creepy. She, sort of, scares people with her bullying, but it's the amount of lying it takes for her to reach the appropriate, scum bag level, she desires. It's amazing to know that she has one gear...angry/aggressive to rage!
Most stuff seems to revolve around sex, drugs or money that she has stolen from people, but lets not forget that there are a lot of people that we haven't even heard from yet. We all know that these guys had something happen, but it's that moment when they remember how "crazy" she is that sells the entire story. They all can't stand this girl and her brother.
There is a reason for that feeling. If the Palm Springs Police doesn't realize how many phone calls about Jessica that my team is aware of. There should have been a "Jessica" division of the PSPD with all of the crimes that she was involved with. A one woman crime wave...but one thing was missing, Her full real name with proof. The thing about making up a new "personality" is that it really isn't that easy. For Lori, it's rude or nothing. Shock and reaction. There is this need to express herself in a manner so sour that most of us can't be around it. She'll say that she did it for shock value, but the evidence, I believe, will show something very different than a "sick joke". Lori uses situations as a test. Put her issues on you and see how you deal with it.
The shocking words, the sick fantasies and all the stuff that she talks about to these victims is almost universal. Most of them never heard a kind word from Lori. There was no subtlety. It was "smash into a wall" aggressive! Most victims that I know aren't impressed with the length of time that Lori and Brian followed them and caused problems. Some of us know by arrest, what kind of mood Lori was in.
The randomness of the arguments that she chose to confront these victims with is almost comical. Lori forgets what person she is talking to, then starts a conversation with someone she thinks she is talking to...and neither is the person that she thought it was. The victim is in a constant state of "the fuck you talkin about"? Half the time, the sentences she makes are so vague that you can see through mud faster...but in the end, she always picks a victim. The last parts of her statements are, "if it wasn't for..." while she plans her next lie. I can't keep up.
Logically you would think that an informant would want to hear this stuff, but the record hasn't hit Track 2, in 10 solid years. I love Mariah Carey but "One Sweet Day" isn't the only song she sings...Lori hasn't sung another song the entire time she's been talking. That's a whole lot of Lori for someone that never wanted to know her.
Track up Lori. I need some new material from you or I'm going to have to go "ALL intelligent" no fun. You need your new single to come out. We've heard about it for ten years...it's time to sing your next album. The one you released in 1985 is old!
Who could talk about the same damn thing for ten years?
She's nuts AND bolts! You can tell she's not all there when she paraphrases, tries to read or thinks about anything! It's all shock factor with a whole lot of messy fantasy.
