After a month or so with LifeLock I wanted to give you the information that you all should know!
This is 100% worth every single penny that you spend on this service!!! It is so good that I am sorry I didn't use it earlier because what it does for the victims of this crime is incredible!!!!
There are MANY aspects of this crime that are related to identity theft. Christopher and I have been through most of them...and so have our team members. There are parts of this service that are simply remarkable and I am beyond words to describe how well it works.
Let me give you some examples:
One part of this crime that Lori and her brother have used again and again is securing a CA DMV driver's license using the information that they gain from their victims. To get a California Driver's License, Brian has been known to go to Social Security and get a print out with the victims' SSN and then he takes it to the DMV to secure a picture on a driver's license bearing the name of the victim. Most of these victims are experiencing one similarity...the Date of Birth on the fake licenses, besides bearing Brian's picture or Lori's, is the same 7/6/67...that is Lori's real birthday.
Once, I was doing research on Christopher Monti's cases at the Larson Justice Center. I noticed that there was a traffic ticket that had gone to a warrant because someone had a fake id and got a ticket for throwing trash out of a moving vehicle. I noticed that the signature on the ticket was NOT Christopher's. I also noticed that the birthdate on the license was not his. His weight wasn't right either, but the other thing was that Christopher does not have a car here in California. All of this is odd.
What I have since found out is that this is was I call an "ambush" warrant. You see, the real Christopher has no idea that this would even exist, but the PSPD would know if they stopped him for Lori that it was there. He, in essence, would then be arrested and jailed because of an "ambush" warrant that was the result of a fake id. Lori, who pretends to know everything about Christopher (see the comments posted after his arrest at the Wil Stiles store) tells the police that he's lying if he says the warrant is a mistake. The fact is that the CDL number is the same, but the birth date is different on both the real license and on the fake one.
These kinds of "ambush warrants" happen all the time because of Lori and Brian. The victims are helpless to stop it UNTIL NOW!
LifeLock monitors these types of things...they look at criminal records and monitor the Social Security Numbers and CDL's of all of their clients. If Brian were to try this again and Christoper was a member of LifeLock, the crime would become different for the victim of identity theft and therefore prevent any "ambush warrant" for him without him knowing about it first; this gives the victims a chance to fight this without going to jail or paying a huge fine which they can't afford.
Ambush warrants happen for other reasons too. Lori likes to pretend to be a police officer and she calls the district attorney's office and pushes the cases through to warrants even when they have been declined in the past. LifeLock monitors all criminal activity and court records of the victims of this crime that are members so that a "warrant being issued" is something that we are made aware of. No more PSPD blindsiding with warrants that Lori makes up in her head.
Another great idea that comes from LifeLock is managing your transactions from your checking and savings account through their site. It is so good!!! I actually balance my checking account through the LifeLock site. If a transaction should post that I did not make, I can immediately, from my cell phone, dispute the charge with LifeLock and they start looking into it. Since Lori does most of her purchasing of items online...the LifeLock people would know immediately the IP address of the person that made the false charge. If another ATM/Debit card was issued on my account or ANY NEW ACCOUNT IN MY NAME USING MY SSN OR CDL OR BANKING INFORMATION...Lori would, once again be found out!
It takes almost all of her identity theft strength away!!!
There are so many features that are good here too. There is Dark Web monitoring that takes your name and vital information off of websites that search this kind of information...and share it with other people. You know the ones that can find anyone...for a price. Not any more. You simply "opt out" of those sites and LifeLock takes care of the rest.
Your cell phone is LifeLocked. Your medical insurance is LifeLocked. Your insurance is LifeLocked. Practically anything you can think of can be made part of their system. It is so good that Lori is afraid to even attempt to use your things out of fear of giving up her IP Address as an identity thief. Catfishing is almost impossible using YOUR real information. She can't use your cellphone or your email address or anything that requires authentication. Any attempt to "become you" isn't allowed.
